COLOUR ANALYSIS CONFIDENCE

COLOUR CONFIDENT - AS A PERSONAL STYLIST

So you’ve trained in Colour Analysis!

Amazing. I remember how excited I was after I trained.

I invested in all the paraphernalia.

The starter kit of drapes and wallets

Every time I got paid (from my salary), I would buy a few more drapes to pad out my collection.

I even colour-coded the drapes and made personalised stickers for them (yup, it took me hours).

The problem was…

I had all the gear and no idea.

No idea how to:

  1. Actually get paying clients

  2. Confidently drape someone and get the right ‘answer’

I’ve talked a LOT about the 1st part. I now help other Stylists to get clients.

But I’ve never before talked about the 2nd part.

The part where, even though I had trained, I didn’t actually feel like I knew what I was doing. I was aching to help other women know their colours but was terrified that I’d give them the wrong verdict. What if I said she was a spring but actually she was a summer.

It kept me frozen in fear.

Ahhhhh!

I researched for hours. And I did put myself out there and I did get clients but I always felt like I was kinda guessing. I wasn’t okay with that.

I met anther stylist who had trained with the same academy and she felt exactly the same. We spent weekends together trying to create or own process to help us feel more confident.

Then I decided to retrain with another company and WOW! It was like night and day. She actually taught me not just WHAT to look for but a process on HOW to carry out the consultation.

In 2017, I decided to focus solely on being a coach. But I kept my drapes etc.

Fast forward to 2022 and more and more of the Personal Stylists I was coaching told me then didn’t feel confident about colour analysis. But they’d all trained with one of the top 3 LEADING colour companies in the UK.

I just presumed it was a confidence issue.

It wasn’t until I asked a few more questions that I realised they hadn’t been taught a clear process either.

So client after client, I would dig out my box of drapes and show them (right there on the Zoom screen) how I used to deliver a colour analysis.

Instantly they felt clearer, happier and more confident. I’m not kidding you, I’ve had Personal Stylists who told me that colour was their least favourite consultation to deliver and then it became their favourite.

They would then admit that they didn’t really feel clear on any of the other services either. I’ve been so shocked to find out how much they’d spent and STILL been left feeling confused and lacking confidence.

So we repeated the same thing for Style Personality, Body Shape, Wardrobe Consultation and Personal Shopping; I taught them the way I used to deliver each of those services. They’d been craving a clear structure and process. In the same way I had back in 2007.

Can you relate to any of this? If so, I’m here to help!

I’m not going to train you in colour (or any of the other services!). You need to have already done that. But I can help you feel confident with what to do with that information!

You can share all your fears with me, I get it completely. You can tell me exactly where you feel clear and what confuses the hell out of you.

I used to be a primary school teacher. I had to write copious lesson plans.

It’s the same for any consultation - you need a clear plan. I’d love to help you write it.

Then you show up with confidence and it makes the entire experience totally different for you and your clients.

Get in touch and let’s work together!

Here’s to you feeling like the confident stylist you set out to be.

INVESTMENT STARTS FROM JUST £197

Please note: You need to have already trained in the service you’d like help with. I’m not going to teach you the basics (although I can help you feel more confident with them).
